For more than a decade, the American Theatre Wing Scholarship Awards have been providing funds for young people studying theatre in New York to further their studies in various disciplines of theatre.
The American Theatre Wing believes that young talent should be nurtured and encouraged. The money awarded assists with the financial burden of rising tuitions and provides the students with incentive to get the education in the theatre for which they strive.
The American Theatre Wing Scholarship Awards are made to select educational institutions which then award them to the individual students. Individual applications to the Wing are not accepted.
