STANLEY TUCCI has appeared in numerous Broadway plays, including Execution of Hope, The Iceman Cometh, Brighton Beach Memoirs and The Misanthrope. Off-Broadway appearances include Scapin at CSC, directed by Andrei Belgrader, and plays at the Yale Repertory Theatre and SUNY Purchase, where he first studied acting with George Morrison. Mr. Tucci has appeared in countless movies including Road to Perdition, The Core, Big Trouble, Sidewalks of New York, America's Sweethearts, Conspiracy (nominated for both an Emmy and a Golden Globe), Deconstructing Harry, William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Life Less Ordinary, The Daytrippers, Kiss of Death, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, It Could Happen to You, The Pelican Brief, Prelude to a Kiss, Billy Bathgate, In the Soup and Slaves of New York. In addition to acting, Mr. Tucci is an accomplished writer, director and producer. His first effort as co-director, co-screenwriter and actor in the same film, Big Night, earned him the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival, an Independent Spirit Award and honors from the New York Film Critics Circle and the Boston Society of Film Critics. The Imposters, Mr. Tucci's second project, was the Official Selection at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. Mr. Tucci also directed Joe Gould's Secret, starring Ian Holm. He received both the Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Walter Winchell in the HBO original film Winchell. Television credits include the TNT series Bull, Equal Justice, Wiseguy, The Equalizer, thirtysomething, and The Street, and he also starred as Richard Cross in the Steven Bochco drama Murder One (Emmy nomination).
