MARK LAMOS directed the Broadway productions of Seascape (Lincoln Center Theater); The Rivals (Lincoln Center Theater); The Deep Blue Sea (Roundabout); Our Country's Good (Tony nomination); and Fascinating Rhythm. Off Broadway credits include As You Like It (NYSF- Central Park); Big Bill; Thief River; The End Of The Day; Love's Fire; Measure For Measure (Lortel Award); and Tiny Alice (Lortel Award). He has directed productions at Hartford Stage, artistic director 1980-97, (Tony Award for theater's body of work); Guthrie, Old Globe; Shakespeare Theater, D.C.; McCarter Theatre; La Jolla; San Francisco's A.C.T.; Williamstown; Canada's Stratford Festival; Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Yale Rep; Moscow's Pushkin Theater, to name a few. For the opera he has staged productions at the Metropolitan, New York City Opera, San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Glimmerglass Opera, Opera Theater of St. Louis, Canadian Opera, Munich Biennale, Mostly Mozart, and Lincoln Center's New Vision Series (also Barbican, London). Television credits include Great Performances (PBS, Emmy Nomination); and Live From Lincoln Center. He holds honorary doctorates from Connecticut College, Trinity, and the Univ. of Hartford.
