BRIAN DRUTMAN is the Senior Director of Decca Label Group, and has supervised such recent cast recordings as Spring Awakening, Monty Python's Spamalot (Grammy Award Winner), Wicked (Grammy Award Winner), The Boy From Oz, Seussical and Michael John LaChiusa's The Wild Party. As Producer of the Decca Broadway catalogue series, he has remastered and reissued over 100 classic Original Cast recordings including Annie Get Your Gun, Carousel, The Fantasticks, Guys and Dolls, The King and I, Man of La Mancha, Oklahoma! and Pippin. Mr. Drutman and the reissue series were recently the subject of a feature on National Public Radio's Morning Edition, and this year, he was honored by the television academy for his contributions to the Emmy-Award winning series, Broadway: The American Musical.
Brian Drutman is a graduate of Brandeis University (B.A., French; History) and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts (M.A., Performance Studies). Brian sits on the Board of Trustees of the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, the Advisory board of the Players Club in New York City, and the Goodspeed Opera House Library and Theatre Archive.
