BERNARD GERSTEN has been the Executive Producer of Lincoln Center Theater since its re-establishment in 1985, for the last 11 years in partnership with André Bishop as Artistic Director. Notable among Lincoln Center Theater’s 104 productions of the last 19 years have been Anything Goes, Sarafina!, The House of Blue Leaves, Waiting for Godot, Six Degrees of Separation, The Sisters Rosensweig, Carousel, Arcadia, A Delicate Balance, The Invention of Love, Contact, Henry IV, King Lear and The Frogs. He formerly was Associate Producer of the New York Shakespeare Festival for, among other works, A Chorus Line and Hair. He was Executive Producer of Francis Ford Coppola’s One From the Heart and Co-Producer of the live-orchestra presentations throughout the world of Abel Gance’s Napoleon. Mr. Gersten has been an adjunct professor of Theater Administration at New York University, Yale School of Drama, and Columbia University School of the Arts.
