ANDREW LEYNSE is now beginning his seventh season at Primary Stages as Artistic Director. He has produced, managed, and directed in the New York Theatre community for over eighteen years. Andrew began his career at Primary Stages after graduating from Carnegie Mellon's Directing Program. At Castle Hill Productions, he produced over twenty productions including Fortune's Fool, Madame Melville, and The Unexpected Man. Upon returning to Primary Stages as Artistic Director, he oversaw the move to our new home at 59E59 Theaters, and has produced over 30 plays at Primary Stages. Andrew is also the Artistic Director of Perry-Mansfield's New Works Festival in Steamboat Springs in Colorado, where he recently directed The Cherry Sisters Revisited by Dan O'Brien, and in previous years The Receptionist by Adam Bock and Spiced Vodka by Rinne Groff.
